Dental Assistant

Job Summary Perform basic chair side assisting duties, instrument and equipment maintenance, radiographic proficiency and dental supply inventory. Major Duties and Responsibilities Patient Focus Chair side Assisting Duties Greets and seats patients Prepares room for treatment Assists Dentists Cleans room after treatment to prepare for next patient Dental and Mental Health Take any appropriate radiograph as requested Keeps instruments cleaned and maintained Keep dental supplies correct and on hand Maintain stock of dental supplies Checking, Examining, & Recording Keeps maintenance log Maintain up to date record of supply ordering Perform other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Graduation for a Dental Assistant Program required Maryland Dental Radiation Technology Certificate required Expanded Functional Certificate preferred Certification in Basic Dental Assisting required Two years minimum experience required Location: Baltimore, MD, US Schedule: Regular Full-Time Salary Range: $23.00 To $28.00 Hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr
