Tax Manager

A Top 300 Accounting Firm recognized by Inside Public Accounting and a Top 25 Accounting Firm in South Florida by the South Florida Business Journal is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its growing team. Responsibilities Review complex tax returns for High‑Net‑Worth Individuals, Partnerships, S Corporations, and C Corporations Perform and review tax research on a variety of federal and state tax matters Identify and implement tax planning strategies designed to maximize client savings Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and collaborate closely with firm leadership on tax matters Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines Mentor, develop, and supervise tax staff Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service Qualifications CPA required 5–10+ years of public accounting tax experience Strong experience with High‑Net‑Worth Individuals and Pass‑Through Entities Tax return review experience required Regional or National Accounting Firm experience preferred Strong technical tax, analytical, and research skills Experience with tax technology such as CCH/Wolters Kluwer, ProSystem fx Tax, Engagement, Fixed Assets, or similar platforms Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation or LL.M. preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills Required Skills Strong technical tax, analytical, and research skills Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills Preferred Skills Experience with tax technology such as CCH/Wolters Kluwer, ProSystem fx Tax, Engagement, Fixed Assets, or similar platforms Regional or National Accounting Firm experience preferred Pay range and compensation package Base salary: $100,000–$150,000, depending on experience Employer-paid health insurance for employees 401(k) with company match up to 5% PTO ranging from 2–6 weeks based on experience 100 hours of in-house training annually Strong career growth and leadership opportunities The firm is committed to maintaining reasonable busy season expectations: Busy Season: Approximately 50–55 hours per week Busy Season Schedule: (February 15 – April 15 and August 15 – October 15) #J-18808-Ljbffr
