Business Development Director

Pure Ground Ingredients is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead commercial growth, develop strategic accounts, and manage our sales team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven B2B food-industry sales professional who can build business, lead people, and bring discipline to sales planning and forecasting.

What You’ll Do

Lead business development and drive new customer acquisition.
Grow and manage strategic and key accounts.
Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans.
Own the sales pipeline, forecasting, and commercial performance.
Lead, coach, and hold the sales team accountable for results.
Build relationships with procurement, sourcing, R&D, and senior decision-makers.
Identify new markets, customers, applications, and product opportunities.
Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Finance on demand planning and S&OP.
Negotiate commercial terms and support the closing of major opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of B2B sales/business development experience in the food industry.
  Proven track record of developing new business and growing key accounts.
  Experience managing or leading a sales team.
  Strong sales planning, pipeline management, and forecasting capabilities.
  Commercially driven, hands-on, and comfortable owning revenue targets.
  Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES

• Highly preferred: Experience with organic ingredients, spices, herbs, botanicals, seasonings, functional ingredients, or agricultural ingredients.
