Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Pediatric Practice
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Position Type: FULL TIME
Schedule: Monday–Tuesday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Wednesday - Thursday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Closed: Friday
A well-established pediatric dental practice in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a high-performing clinical team.
This practice is known for providing a positive, patient-focused experience for children and families, supported by efficient systems and a strong team dynamic. The role is structured, fast-paced, and designed for hygienists who value consistency, teamwork, and high-quality preventive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Take digital radiographs (X-rays)
- Provide patient and parent education on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Work with pediatric patients in a calm, supportive, and engaging manner
- Assist dentists during exams and clearly communicate findings
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
- Support clinical efficiency and maintain schedule flow throughout the day
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred but not required
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to stay on schedule in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software preferred
Compensation & Schedule

- Full-time, four-day workweek
