Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Location: California

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts (06:00 - 18:30) with call required.

Job Description: The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in an adult cardiac catheterization laboratory that performs invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The role involves participating in STEMI call and various cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing left and right heart catheterizations, coronary angiography, and other interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during invasive cardiovascular procedures and uphold safety standards.
• Administer conscious sedation and perform telemetry monitoring.
• Document patient care activities and procedures accurately using EPIC-Cupid and other relevant systems.
• Participate in call rotation, covering every fourth weekend and 1-2 weekdays.
• Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab RN.
• Current California RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system is preferred.
