Purchasing HVAC/Refrigeration Parts, Equipment Role at AFGO Mechanical Services, Inc. Pay Range Base pay $30.00/hr – $35.00/hr. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Responsibilities Manage the daily operation of the parts department, including purchasing materials and maintaining inventory levels. Source replacement parts as required and research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history. Create and manage purchase orders, receive material deliveries, monitor stock inventory levels, and reorder material for stock. Work with other staff, including Customer Service Coordinators, Field Technicians, and the Service Manager, to perform day‑to‑day operations in a busy fast‑paced environment. Fulfill material requirements quickly and accurately. Qualifications and Skills Strong work ethic and highly motivated to make a difference. Adaptable, flexible, and able to handle a high volume of tasks under pressure. Prior knowledge of material and parts related to HVAC and mechanical is a plus, but not required. Must possess a systems and process background. Computer skills required: proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and basic Windows environment. Web navigation to effectively use search engines. Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and organize job‑specific documentation and information.
