Project Manager For The Es Project Office (Pmo)Oversee all aspects of large-scale, high-priority projects, define and manage project scope, schedule, and budget, develop and maintain project management artifacts, align project deliverables with strategy, manage project within the VITA PMO framework, keep leadership informed of key issues, facilitate project meetings, identify and mitigate project risks. Manage project resources, use project management applications like CTP and Planview, consult with customers and communicate project status. 5+ years of technical project management experience, experience in developing and documenting technical and business requirements, leadership experience of cross-functional teams, vendor management experience, procurement experience, knowledge of Quality Assurance and best practices, knowledge of varied technologies like COTS solutions, Security best practices, Cloud-Computing and Data Management. Strong business, technical and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to facilitate technical project meetings, ability to oversee and track progress, excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to solve complex business and technical problems, aptitude for learning new technologies. College degree/Military experience, Masters degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required, VITA PM Certification or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire. Preferably local Richmond candidates, but virtual/web-based options considered with possibility of on-site interview for those within 100 miles. Candidate will be required to pay for VITA PM Certification (approx $150) which will not be reimbursed by the agency.
