Assembler / Solderer

Pay Rate: $20.00–$21.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime: Potential for overtime

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler / Solderer to support electronic and printed circuit board (PCB) assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying electronic components, performing mechanical and electronic assembly, and using soldering tools to complete precise, high-quality work.

Candidates should be comfortable following technical instructions, working with small electronic components, and maintaining quality standards in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. J-STD-001 solder certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electronic component assembly and PCB assembly tasks.
• Identify and handle through-hole and surface-mount technology (SMT) components.
• Use manual and automated soldering tools and microscopes as required.
• Follow applicable IPC and J-STD-001 workmanship standards and procedures.
• Read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with established requirements.
• Maintain attention to detail when performing repetitive assembly and soldering tasks.
• Identify and help resolve assembly issues as they arise.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support production goals.
• Follow established safety, quality, and workplace procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• J-STD-001 solder certification preferred.
• Must successfully pass a visual acuity examination.
• Ability to identify electronic components, including through-hole and SMT components.
• Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and PCB assembly processes.
• Familiarity with manual and automated soldering tools and microscopes.
• Ability to follow applicable IPC and J-STD-001 standards and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and precision when performing repetitive tasks.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Shift: First shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
