We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team at Highland Springs Post Acute in Highland Springs, VA. As an OTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their highest level of independence and functionality.

About the Role:

As an OTA, you will be responsible for assisting with evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing environment, establishing treatment plans, and implementing various methods to ease patient pain and increase mobility. You will also collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement patient care plans, maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress, and provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing environment
• Establish treatment plans and implement various methods to ease patient pain and increase mobility
• Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress

Requirements:
• Must have completed an accredited program and possess a valid VA OTA license
• 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
