Details Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in an acute care hospital setting Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Weekend requirement Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Patient ratios of 1:4 on weekdays and 1:1 on weekends No floating between units required No on-call requirements Open to block scheduling Cerner charting system experience required Requirements Current Maryland or Compact OT license required if applicable BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of experience required Rehab hospital experience required Prior travel experience required Two supervisor references required Willingness to float within scope of practice within the hospital Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred Experience with prosthetics/orthotics, dynamic and functional splints preferred Experience treating amputee, CVA, TBI, spinal cord injury, and neurological conditions preferred Additional Information Provide therapy services within an Adult Rehabilitation Facility setting Conduct evaluations including FIM, cognitive, and functional capacity assessments Perform home assessments, wheelchair evaluations, and adaptive equipment assessments Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, TENS, and myofascial release Deliver patient/family education and home exercise programs Facility is tobacco-free; candidates must be nicotine-free and will be screened First-time travelers considered with at least 2 years of experience Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year No mile radius rule in place Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate American Traveler Job ID P-739495.
