What you'll do: Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC systems, building equipment, ductwork, and control components following technical documentation and codes. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues affecting HVAC and facility systems to ensure optimal operation. Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and necessary repairs to extend equipment life and reduce downtime. Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely while adhering to OSHA standards and company safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, parts usage, and complete work orders and expense reports. Communicate effectively with facility operators and partners regarding service needs and task status. Participate in on-call rotations and manage work assignments using digital tools and scheduling systems. What you'll bring: Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and related equipment in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and layout plans to ensure accurate system installation and troubleshooting. Skilled in configuring and calibrating building automation systems, direct digital controls, and low-ambient HVAC applications. Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic capabilities to resolve equipment and control system issues effectively. Commitment to following OSHA standards, safety protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment Proficient in documenting maintenance activities, inspections, parts usage accurately. The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Vocational or technical HVAC certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC and building controls. Option 1: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling- equipment, or related trades. Option 2: 2 years’ store experience. Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report. Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for the handling and servicing of refrigerants. Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years. Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years. No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. Preferred Qualifications...
