This role ensures contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, financial objectives, and operational standards while minimizing risk and supporting business goals.**Key Responsibilities*** Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and amendments* Ensure contractual compliance with company policies and applicable laws* Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and business teams during contract development* Monitor contract performance, deliverables, milestones, renewals, and expirations* Identify and mitigate contractual risks and resolve disputes when necessary* Maintain contract databases and document management systems* Support vendor and supplier relationship management* Review terms related to pricing, service levels, confidentiality, indemnification, and liability* Track key contract metrics and prepare management reports* Ensure timely execution and renewal of agreements* Assist with audits and regulatory compliance activities* Develop and improve contract management procedures and best practices**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or related field* 3–7+ years of contract management, procurement, legal operations, or related experience* Strong knowledge of contract terminology and commercial agreements* Experience negotiating vendor or client contracts* Excellent organizational and analytical skills* Strong written and verbal communication abilities* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management systems**Preferred Qualifications*** Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or similar certification* Experience with ERP or procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa* Experience in healthcare, government, construction, technology, or manufacturing industries* Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards**Key Skills*** Contract negotiation* Risk management* Vendor management* Attention to detail* Financial analysis* Problem-solving* Project coordination* Compliance management**Typical Contracts Managed*** Vendor agreements* Service contracts* Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)* Statements of work (SOWs)* Licensing agreements* Consulting agreements* Procurement contracts* Master service agreements (MSAs)This is an exempt position with salary range of $70,000 - $90,000# **About Our Commitment**## **Total Rewards at VillageMD**Our team members are essential to our mission to reshape healthcare through the power of connection.
