Director of Rehabilitation ServicesPlans, directs, and administers the work of Rehabilitation Services. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.Collaborate with medical and professional staff of other departments to plan/coordinate joint patient and management objectives.Ensure optimal allocation of staff to workload ratios, to meet budgetary goals/objectives.Ensure operational costs are within organizational goals.Prepare departmental budget.Coordinate departmental projects.Ensure departmental compliance with organizational, departmental specific policies/procedures, safety and health standards, and state/federal regulations.Display visionary leadership skills.Serve a population newborn through geriatric.Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.General Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned.People Management Responsibilities:Does this position have people management responsibilities?:“Yes” indicates that this position entails overseeing and guiding team members, encompassing employment decisions and/or suggestions, as well as conducting formal performance assessments.“No” indicates that this position does not involve managing team members.Minimum Qualifications :Bachelor's degree, and (5) years clinical experience.Kansas license as a PT, OT, Speech Therapist, PTA, or COTA.Current BLS/CPR card from approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation, whichever comes first.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in PT, OT, Speech Therapy OR a Masters in Health Sciences Administration.4-10 years of experience.American Heart Association BLS.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :Extensive knowledge in the field of Rehab.
