Skills and Experience Desired:

• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adolescents
• Proficient with documentation and compliance practices required in educational settings
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Comfort adapting approaches and therapy techniques for various age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students identified with speech-language impairments across Middle and High School ages.
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, school teams, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records, submit required reports, and ensure documentation meets state and federal requirements
• Deliver both push-in and pull-out interventions as appropriate
• Participate in IEP meetings, multi-disciplinary team discussions, and contribute expertise to the educational environment
