Diesel Mechanic
Pay: $30.00/hour
Shift: 7am to 4:30pm M-F, must be able to work overtime
Location: Channelview, TX 77530
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Freightliner trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Service John Deere, Caterpillar, and similar heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot engines, electrical systems, brakes, air systems, and cooling components.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine services.
- Use diagnostic software to identify fault codes and engine issues.
- Minimum 3 years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
- Experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment, including Freightliner.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read diagnostic trouble codes and perform repairs independently.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL and certifications are a plus.
