If you're ready for a challenge supported by a culture of safety, stability growth and a positive work environment, we invite you to begin your journey with us.Pay Details: Up to $28.00 per hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday to FridayResponsibilitiesAssist with preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers while utilizing personal safety equipment as required.Move trucks in and out of the shop for maintenanceOpen repair orders and charge the appropriate parts to the repair orderPerform tire inspections/appropriate paperwork to company standardsPerforms shop clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities as well as other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.Inspects and maintains basic vehicle/accessorial worthiness including proper fuel levels and tire air pressure, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and safety equipment, and submits reports indicating the condition of equipment.Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies.QualificationsMust have a valid driver's license3 - 4 years of experience on 3 axle 18 wheelersExperience with scan tool operations and vehicle diagnosticAbility to provide own basic hand toolsBasic computer skillsKnowledge of chemical trailers is a plusAbility to read and comprehend service manualsKnowledge of tools and equipment used in the shop to repair and maintain company equipmentKnowledge of D.O.T. regulations and out-of-service parameters for tractors, trailers, and accessorial equipment.Knowledgeable in ELD tracking equipment, installation, troubleshooting, and operation.Experienced with PTO-driven air compressor installations, including Hydrochem systems.Extensive knowledge of Class 8 trucks and 18-wheelers, including diagnostics, preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repairs.Strong knowledge of commercial truck tires, including inspection, maintenance, replacement, and troubleshooting.Experienced with laptop-based diagnostic systems and software, including:Detroit DiagnosticLinkJPROAllison DOCCummins INSITESkilled in diagnosing engine, transmission, electrical, and mechanical issues using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.BenefitsHoliday and vacation payMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramLife Insurance & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (Health & Dependent Care)Safety CommitmentsWe make safety a part of every decisionWe make safety personalWe have the courage to intervene
