We are in search of a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist like you to join our team. Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides high‑quality, patient‑centered respiratory care tailored to departmental requirements and consistent with professional standards. As an essential member of the patient care team, you will perform a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, closely monitoring patients receiving both invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. Responsibilities Conduct and document thorough patient assessments, evaluating breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure. Perform diagnostic procedures to determine the necessity and effectiveness of respiratory therapy. Administer a range of respiratory therapies, including oxygen and aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy. Assist in the placement of artificial airways, and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation. Monitor patients for therapeutic responses, notifying providers and intervening as necessary for any unintended responses. Support the transportation of ventilator‑dependent patients. Respond promptly to emergent patient situations, ensuring airway integrity and effective ventilation during resuscitation as needed. Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC‑RRT) State Licensed Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP) Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required Associate's Degree Medical City Dallas is recognized for its advanced medical facilities and unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care.
