Fire Sprinkler Install Helper

Summary Assist in the installation of wet, dry, pre‑action and deluge fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial, residential buildings, and industrial applications in compliance with current codes. DIV. 167, Houston, TX Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications Lay out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field Connect pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp Attach revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site Maintain a clean and safe work area Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED; or 0‑6 months related experience or training. Additional Requirements Pre‑employment drug screens; overtime may be required.
