In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for potential and existing beneficiaries, providing essential program information, account support, and password reset assistance for our online consumer portal.
Operating in a structured environment with weekends off, this position relies on your ability to actively listen, convey complex information clearly, and provide calm conflict resolution for frustrated customers. education: High School Responsibilities Position Summary: Support social service program applicants and recipients as the primary point of contact. This production-driven role focuses on accurately resolving inbound inquiries, navigating multiple software applications, and utilizing empathy and effective problem-solving skills to provide calm conflict resolution for frustrated customers. Outstanding attendance is a strict requirement for success in this structured, structured environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls from program applicants and recipients related to social service programs.
- Actively listen to callers, using excellent customer service skills, compassion, and empathy to assist them.
- Actively listen and use excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure timely call resolution.
- Accurately document all interactions with callers within the required software applications
- Accurately document all interactions while following scripts to ensure proper procedures are adhered to.
- Provide clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements.
- Identify and communicate trends in caller questions and concerns to call center leadership.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive information and work with callers in difficult situations.
- Work with callers in difficult situations, resolving calls within required metrics while expressing empathy.
