Emergency Department Registered Nurse – 24 hours (part‑time, rotating) Lahey Hospital and Medical Center May 7, 2026 Salary: $74,000 – $191,000 Job Description In the Emergency Department we care for patients that have experienced accidents or medical emergencies requiring immediate attention. The ED is a Level 1 trauma center equipped with 44 beds, a state‑of‑the‑art imaging suite, pharmacy, fast‑track area, behavioral health suite, private treatment rooms, family waiting area and consultation rooms. We utilize EPIC electronic charting for patient assessment, care documentation, and medication administration. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including assessment, treatment, and coordination of care. Administer medications and treatments electronically through EPIC. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to respond to patient needs rapidly. Qualifications State of Massachusetts RN license At least one year of nursing experience in the ED (preferred) BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required ACLS preferred Strong critical‑thinking, patient‑centered care, and interpersonal skills Pay Range Hourly wage: $37.00 – $95.37, with potential for shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime, and other additional pay practices.
