PLC & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (occasional overtime)
FAQ Style OverviewWhat will I work on?
Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and program PLCs, HMIs, DCS, VFDs, instrumentation, and plant electrical infrastructure.
Resolve equipment issues and implement solutions that enhance reliability, efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Guide, train, and mentor fellow technicians; reinforce best-in-class maintenance practices.
Interpret electrical drawings and ladder logic to support maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.
Who will I collaborate with?
Cross-functional partners across production, quality, and safety to align fixes with business priorities and long-term reliability goals.
What’s required to succeed?
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of electrical maintenance experience with PLC programming, hardware, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics; experience with both high and low voltage; comfortable interfacing with ladder logic.
What helps me stand out?
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience in alcohol beverage, food & beverage, or CPG manufacturing.
Rockwell Automation controls training/certification.
Hands-on time with Allen‑Bradley and Panasonic PLC platforms.
Any physical requirements?
Yes—ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance.
