Overview Ace Hardware - Assistant Store Manager (Urgent) Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and leading a team to success? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment? The General Store / Ace Hardware Outpost in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a locally owned business since 1946, we offer a diverse range of products including apparel, automotive parts, toys, and sporting goods. Join us in creating a positive work environment where you can grow both personally and professionally. Responsibilities Proactively assist customers and ensure they receive top-notch service Handle customer complaints effectively and maintain excellent product knowledge Maintain a positive and safe work environment for all associates Manage inventory levels, ensure compliance with policies, and monitor store profitability Oversee merchandise stocking, maintenance, and cleanliness Implement Store Support programs and ensure successful audits Assist with special projects as directed by the General Manager Recruit, train, and develop associates for career advancement Support the hiring, scheduling, and coaching of all store associates Compensation and Benefits Pay: $20.00 / hour Full-time position with benefits including paid time off, health insurance, employee discounts, and more Opportunity for growth in a community-oriented and active work environment Location The General Store Outpost / Ace Hardware 1425 N.
