Occupational Therapist

Location: Riley Home Based

Shift: Full Time

Requirements:

• Requires a Master's Degree from an accredited academic program in occupational therapy; or, if foreign trained, graduation from an occupational therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Requires current licensure in the state of Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• May require credentialling for certification as an early interventionist.
• Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provides home-based, direct therapy intervention and consultative services to patients.
• Patient population may comprise children ages birth to three through Indiana's Early Intervention Program, First Steps.
• Provides services in collaboration with the family's natural environment via evidence-based treatments that address activities of daily living, sensory processing, feeding, and fine motor development in accordance with the established Individualized Family Services Plan.
• Identifies and assesses skills that impact the patients functional ability.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
