Registered Nurse, Part-time 24-hour, Nights 7p-7a, ED, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center Morristown, NJ, United States Be the First to Apply Job Description Provides direct patient care, coordinates treatment plans, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes. Job Function 1: Patient Assessment Perform systematic, comprehensive assessments, determine discharge needs, monitor medication effects, assess pain levels, intervene accordingly, document and plan individualized education. Job Function 2: Clinical Skills & Documentation Demonstrate competent nursing skills, analyze situations, maintain accurate documentation, identify goals, complete interdisciplinary plans, participate in rounds, evaluate interventions, assess family responses. Job Function 3: Communication Communicate clearly with the healthcare team, complete hand‑off reports. Job Function 4: Critical Thinking & Time Management Assume responsibility for safe care, delegate appropriately, conduct patient rounds, participate in huddles, use approved communication tools. Job Function 5: Compliance & Leadership Adhere to OSHA, Joint Commission, nursing standards, use identifiers, check allergies, follow hand‑washing and isolation protocols, use equipment safely, mentor, participate in shared governance. Qualifications Education : BSN preferred. Accredited institution. Experience : 2‑3 years of ED or Acute Care. Certificates : BLS required ACLS required prior to completing ED orientation PALS to be completed within one year of hire (unless pediatric) Licenses : Valid NJ RN license or compact license.
