This role contributes to the safe, reliable, and efficient execution of daily field operations in an emerging technology environment. About The Role The Operations Specialist supports on-site autonomous delivery activities. This is a ground‑operations role and does not involve piloting or operating drones. Responsibilities include collecting prepared food orders from local merchants, transporting them to the designated launch site, loading the orders into autonomous delivery systems, and ensuring that each handoff is accurate, safe, and completed according to established procedures. The selected worker must have access to a reliable personal vehicle for collecting orders from restaurants and transporting them to the designated operations site. Key Responsibilities Field Operations Pick up food orders from assigned merchants and transport them to the designated delivery site using a personal vehicle. Carefully prepare and load orders into autonomous delivery systems. Verify order accuracy, quality, and safe handling. Support smooth day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑moving test and deployment environment. Identify operational issues and provide clear observations and feedback to help improve processes and technology. Operational Excellence Follow all safety protocols, site procedures, and operational requirements. Maintain an organized and efficient workflow to help keep operations on schedule. Remain flexible and proactive as processes, tools, and procedures evolve. Complete assigned tasks accurately, consistently, and within required timeframes. Team Collaboration Work closely with a small, cross‑functional operations team. Contribute to a culture of trust, accountability, reliability, and consistency. Communicate effectively with teammates and support hands‑on collaboration in the field. Communication and Stakeholder Interaction Report field observations, incidents, and operational feedback to engineers, operations personnel, and other business partners. Communicate professionally with merchants, team members, and members of the public. Represent the organization positively during interactions with external stakeholders. Required Qualifications Reliable personal vehicle suitable for local order transportation. Valid driver’s license. Ability to work outdoors and remain on your feet for extended periods. Dependable, punctual, detail‑oriented, and safety‑focused work style. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to adapt to changing procedures in an emerging operational environment.
