Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $120,000–$175,000+ per year (Based on Experience) Join One of Chicago's Premier Mercedes-Benz Dealerships AutoHaus on Edens is looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager / Desk Manager to help lead our high-performing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven automotive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, believes in coaching and accountability, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional luxury customer experience. We're looking for someone who leads by example, builds relationships with both customers and staff, and understands how to drive performance through process, leadership, and teamwork. Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily new vehicle sales operations, including desking deals and inventory management. Coach, mentor, and develop sales consultants to maximize performance and professional growth. Drive showroom traffic, sales volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction through consistent leadership and accountability. Structure and desk deals while working closely with the Finance Department to maximize profitability and efficiency. Ensure every customer receives a first-class Mercedes-Benz ownership experience. Monitor sales activities, CRM usage, and follow-up processes to maintain a disciplined sales culture. Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent. Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve dealership sales objectives and long-term growth.
Job Requirement:Qualifications Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Desk Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, or similar automotive sales leadership role. Mercedes-Benz or luxury automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a successful sales team. Strong desking, negotiation, and deal-structuring skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities. Customer-first mindset with a professional appearance and demeanor. Strong understanding of CRM processes, inventory management, and dealership operations.
