Back of House Team Member Opportunity

We are looking for a member of the back of house team! We are not accepting applicants who are 14/15 years old at this time. The physical ability to lift repeatedly between 15 and 20 pounds is a requirement for some positions within the kitchen.

As a member of the back of house team at Chick-fil-A of Roxboro, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring the accuracy of orders. Your attention to detail, speed, and commitment to our core values will contribute to our shared vision of being the most attentive company in the world.

Responsibilities of back-of-house team members:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Know the duties of all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembly, tables, and food preparation
• Store kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen tidy, clean, and orderly at all times
• Stay up to date with new products launched by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen teams and report any maintenance issues to management
• Maintain personal knowledge by performing internal training and keeping up to date with any changes
• Complete all opening or closing duties as assigned
• Always comply with Chick-fil-A’s standards and dress code
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and requirements:

Food preparation:

• Follow Chick-fil-A guidelines to prepare and cook menu items
• Ensure all food is cooked to perfection and meets Chick-fil-A quality standards
• Maintain food product inventory and communicate with team members to restock as needed

Order accuracy:

• Assemble food accurately according to customer orders
• Collaborate with the front of house team to resolve any order discrepancies or customer concerns

Kitchen organization:

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the kitchen
• Comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in inventory management and report any equipment maintenance needs

Efficiency and speed:

• Work efficiently to meet Chick-fil-A’s commitment to fast service without compromising order accuracy
• Contribute to reducing wait times and ensuring timely delivery of orders

Teamwork:

• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals
• Support teammates in their duties to maintain a high level of efficiency and service excellence

Requirements and qualifications continue:

• Attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
• Ability to work in a dynamic kitchen environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in cooking or food preparation is a plus, but not required

• On-call
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Saturday availability is required

Salary:

• $12-15 per hour
