Responsibilities

• The Food Runner plays a key role in maintaining efficient service flow and upholding brand excellence. The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally. Plays a key role in maintaining efficient service flow and upholding brand excellence.
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure all dishes are accurate, properly plated, and meet presentation standards before leaving the kitchen.
• Announce dishes upon delivery and describe items when necessary.
• Verify dietary restrictions, modifications, and special requests.
• Assist servers with table maintenance and guest needs.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
• Maintain cleanliness of expo line and service areas.
• Assist with side work, including polishing silverware and restocking stations.
• Support team members during peak business hours.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience preferred (high-volume experience a plus).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and presentation standards.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry trays up to 30-40 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
