Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE) - Europe

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in projection/display products, FAE, application engineering, technical sales engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong experience in projector industry or commercial display solutions is highly preferred.
- Candidates from projector brands and with strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with the ability to identify technical issues quickly.
- Good understanding of projector technologies, AV systems, signal transmission, and integration environments.
- Strong presentation and customer-facing communication skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Fluent English communication skills; German, French, or other European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% across Europe. Pre-Sales Technical Support & Product Design-In
- Support sales teams in customer technical discussions, product demonstrations, and solution presentations.
- Understand customer requirements and provide optimized technical solutions.
- Support product evaluation, introduction, and drive product design-in with customers.
- Provide technical support during the sales process and help customers understand product advantages.
- Visit customer sites to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Analyze whether issues are related to projector hardware, software compatibility, external control systems, networking, or integration environments.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide professional technical solutions.
- Coordinate with R&D teams to provide solutions and product improvements.
- Provide product training and technical support to customers and partners.
- Conduct technical workshops and product demonstrations.
- Develop technical documents, FAQs, application notes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Build technical knowledge resources to improve customer support efficiency.
- Collect customer feedback and market insights from European customers.
- Identify customer needs, technical challenges, and market trends.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to product and R&D teams for future product improvements.
