Contract ClerkThe contract clerk performs a wide range of administrative duties such as posting new and used car deals in accounting, payoffs, schedule reconciliations, and vehicle documentation. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude. Someone who enjoys working in a team and understands the importance of their work and how it affects the productivity of others. Strong attention to detail and organization is necessary. We are a hardworking, self-motivated team who works together to achieve the overall goals set by the dealer group. If this opportunity sounds right for you, please apply.ResponsibilitiesProcess new and used vehicle contracts timely and accuratelyVerify the costs and transactions for each vehicle saleReview and ensure accuracy of all incentives, rebates, and sales tax in the dealProcess all payoffs on trades, including any payoff differencesProcess and follow all necessary steps for rollbacksJournal daily bank fundingMaintain a high level of confidentialityMake accounting adjustments as needed and maintain clean schedules on a weekly basis.Performs other duties as assignedThe approximate pay range for this position is $21.00-$24.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as the geographic location of the position.QualificationsAbility to work efficiently and meet deadlinesExcellent organizational and follow-up skillsDetail oriented and multitasking skillsExcellent communication skills both written and oralTime management-ability to prioritize workload and manage one's own timeComputer skills, specifically Excel a plus, Google sheets and typing skillsMust have minimum 2 years' experience in the automotive industryKnowledge of CDK and/or Lightspeed a plusMotorsports industry experience a plus
