This position is based in Houston, Texas.This is a senior individual contributor role focused on identifying, developing, and coordinating large capital project opportunities with owner/operators, EPC firms, and strategic industry stakeholders. The successful candidate will help position Yokogawa as a strategic Main Automation Contractor (MAC) partner for major industrial projects.The role requires strong understanding of large capital project development cycles. The individual will work closely with Yokogawa key account managers, EPC account teams, proposal organizations, consultants, and business units to support strategic project pursuits from early development through project award.The ideal candidate may come from industrial sales, project management, program leadership, EPC organizations, automation execution, or related industrial leadership roles. Prior deep sales experience is valuable but not required. Yokogawa is willing to develop advanced sales and pursuit skills for candidates who demonstrate strong project leadership capability, strategic thinking, communication skills, and relationship-building potential.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and support large project opportunities within the process industriesDevelop relationships with EPC firms, owner/operators, licensors, and strategic partnersCoordinate closely with Yokogawa key account managers and EPC account teamsSupport positioning of Yokogawa as a Main Automation Contractor (MAC) partnerEngage customers and EPCs early in project development cyclesCoordinate internal pursuit teams across sales, proposals, consulting, and business unitsSupport executive engagement and strategic customer relationship developmentMonitor capital project activity, market trends, and competitive positioningRepresent Yokogawa at industry events, customer meetings, and strategic project discussionsOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree Marketing, Engineering or Business, or equivalent industry experience7+ years of experience in industrial projects, automation, EPC environments, program management, business development, or related industrial marketsUnderstanding of large capital project environments and project execution cyclesStrong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to coordinate across multiple teams, functions, and stakeholdersAbility to travel up to 35% as required, including international travelPreferredExperience supporting or leading major industrial projects or pursuitsFamiliarity with EPC organizations and project development processesExperience within refining, chemicals, LNG, power, or related process industriesFamiliarity with industrial automation or digitalization solutionsExperience engaging executive or senior project stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authorityYokogawa is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
