We are looking for a hands‑on Marketo Operations Expert to join a global MarTech team. This role is designed for a technical doer who enjoys the execution side of marketing automation: building programs, managing complex data flows, and maintaining system health. You will be a key player in a digital transformation, helping implement modern B2B frameworks such as Buying Groups. It’s an ideal position for someone who is technically independent but eager to grow, and ready to expand their skills into the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). How Your Day-to-day Work Will Look Like Own the end-to-end setup of Marketo programs, including smart campaigns, segmentations, and asset management. Work closely with the data team to manage filtering, purging, and optimization of data moving in and out of Marketo. Apply an understanding of Buying Groups and B2B account dynamics to ensure the tool reflects the client’s business transformation. Maintain and optimize webhooks and CRM syncs to ensure seamless information flow across the MarTech stack. Proactively learn and adopt new technologies within the Adobe ecosystem, specifically Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). This Would Make You The Ideal Candidate 4-7 years of hands‑on Marketo Engage administration experience in a B2B enterprise environment, with a proven track record managing enterprise‑level implementations. Expert‑level proficiency in Marketo Engage, including Smart Campaigns, Email 2.0, Dynamic Content, Tokens, Snippets, and Segmentations (Velocity Scripting is a plus). Experience with custom and out‑of‑the‑box Marketo integrations, including bi‑directional sync management, and integrations with Adobe Experience Cloud, social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), event and webinar platforms (Zoom, ON24, Webex, etc.), and lead capture applications. CRM knowledge, including custom objects, workflows, Process Builder, and campaign member management. HTML/CSS proficiency for email template and landing page customization, and an understanding of JavaScript for advanced tracking, form behaviors, and API integrations. Experience with API integrations, webhook configurations, and RESTful services. Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and SQL/database query languages, plus knowledge of data integration patterns and ETL concepts. Understanding of the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem (Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics) and of MarTech stack architecture and marketing data flows across CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms. Familiarity with B2B marketing concepts, particularly managing multiple stakeholders within Buying Groups or Account‑Based Marketing structures. Experience working in cross‑functional MarTech teams with Product Owners, Business Architects, and technical stakeholders. Experience implementing governance frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CASL, CAN‑SPAM, CCPA). Knowledge of AI tools and their application in marketing operations, combined with hands‑on experience in API integrations and data‑driven projects. Highly responsive and proactive, able to work independently to solve technical challenges. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Marketo Certified Expert (required). Nice to have: Marketo Certified Solutions Architect; Adobe Experience Platform certifications; ITIL or Agile/Scrum certifications; prior experience with CJA and AEP.
