ROLE DESCRIPTION: James Manley - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Our agent is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary College and has spent his entire career with State Farm, beginning as a team member while still in college before opening his own agency. Today, he leads a team of five who are passionate about serving customers and making a positive impact in the community.

We actively support organizations such as Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh and the Police Unity Tour, along with other local charitable and community initiatives. Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Our office is open Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
• I have been a State Farm agent since 1990.
• Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
• We currently have 3 team members at our agency.
