Position Overview
As a Kitchen Team Member Cook, Line Cook, or Prep Cook, you'll be part of the heartbeat of Ladybird Taco. You'll prepare and cook delicious food, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and support your teammates in a fun, fast-paced kitchen environment. You'll report to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, and live out our core values of being Caring, Humble, and Hungry every day.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook tacos, sides, and proteins to Ladybird standards
- Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and quality procedures
- Keep prep, line, and dish areas clean and organized
- Restock and rotate ingredients throughout service
- Communicate clearly with teammates to keep the line flowing
- Receive and put away deliveries
- Support the team wherever needed everyone pitches in
Who You Are
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Caring, humble, and hungry to learn
- Detail-oriented and dependable in fast-paced settings
- Comfortable working with kitchen tools and equipment
- Familiar with or willing to learn proper food safety standards
- Able to obtain a food handler's permit
Experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable operating kitchen tools and equipment
- Able to follow directions accurately and efficiently
- Work safely around cleaning chemicals and hot equipment
