TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market.Additional information can be found at Sr. Cost Accountant/Analyst supports the Finance Business Partner at multiple sites (Relocation provided for the right candidate)Duties and Responsibilities:Analyze performance metrics inclusive of those above and others to understand plant performance and make recommendations to Finance Business Partner and General Manager.Work with operations and engineering department managers to understand cost performance and analyze variances.Support Finance Business Partner in preparation of Budget/Forecast/Period End Variance Analysis cycle.Support conversion of ERP system to Oracle.Inventory valuation:Prepare inventory reconciliationCalculate Prod Cost % each periodCalculate reserves for Excess & Obsolete inventory and scrapAnalyze WIP aging and work with operations to address old work ordersCost Analysis:Analyze over/under absorptionReview job close variancesReview PPV variancesUpdate Standard cost ratesPerform profitability analysis (by PN and/or by Customer)Indirect Rate calculation for budget and pricing effortsMaintain/Update system set ups:If a new department is added, determine if it is costed or not with Oracle SMEIf a new department is costed, determine cost drivers and rates with Oracle SMESet up new resources, Overhead and rates in OracleHelp prepare Virtual P&L by Market and report variancesMonth end close tasks:Open/close inventoriesPrepare journal entriesCoordinate/execute Quarter sample audits of Raw, WIP & FG inventoryEssential Knowledge and Skills:Strong research and analytical skillsStandard costing experienceAdvanced skills in ExcelHighly motivated, a creative problem solver and a strategic thinker.Able to work independently.Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.Knowledge of SQL and/or Access a plusEducation and Experience:BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2-5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge with Alteryx is a plus #LI-EC1 #CORPCompensation and Benefits:TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.
