Job Description:
If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a Outpatient setting this Dallas, TX position might be what you are looking for! Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
- Completion of accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- TX PTA licensure/certification
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
- Pay: $1,412.56 - $1,456.25 / week
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Assignment Length: 13
- Shift: Day - up to 40.00 hours per week
- Setting: Outpatient
- Workplace: On-site
