Title: MBD Controls Engineer

Location : Syracuse, NY

Job Summary

Seeking an MBD Controls Engineer with 8+ years of experience in control algorithm development, verification, and thermal simulation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Design (MBD) for developing and validating control systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
Execute unit and integration testing for control system validation.
Perform model-based verification and validation using Simulink and FMI tools.
Analyze lab test results, troubleshoot control issues, and implement corrective actions.
Support product development, validation, and sustaining activities.

Required Qualifications

MS in Control Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in control algorithm development and validation.
Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and MBD methodologies.
Knowledge of thermal simulation and system testing .
