Step into a full-time, contract opportunity working 35 hours per week in a dynamic educational environment from August 31, 2026, through June 18, 2027. This onsite position offers you the chance to apply your skills in collaboration with educators and specialists, providing direct support to students with a variety of needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapy license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Michigan
• Previous experience working in a school setting is required
• Skilled in working with children and adolescents with disabilities in educational environments
• Comfortable adapting to the needs of diverse student populations and collaborating across teams
• Demonstrated capability to manage a full caseload in K-12 schools
• Available for the full academic year and onsite work only

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students as indicated in their educational plans
• Perform screenings, assessments, and regular therapy sessions
• Work alongside teachers and other specialists to develop and implement individualized plans
• Maintain clear and timely documentation for each student
• Communicate progress and collaborate with families and faculty to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Travel as needed between Monroe and Mason public schools within the eastern region of Monroe County
