ER RN | Wausau, WI | 13-Week Travel Contract

Weekly Hours: 48 Hours Guaranteed
Shift: 12-Hour Variable Shifts (Days/Evenings)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
OT: Paid after 48 hours worked

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN License
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 5 years of ER experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience (Required)
• Level II Trauma experience required
• Epic charting experience required

Schedule Details

• Primarily 12-hour shifts:
  • 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Occasional flexibility to:
  • 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

• Level II Trauma Center
• 18-Bed Emergency Department
• Stroke Certified Facility
• High-acuity patient population including cardiac, neuro, respiratory, pediatric, and geriatric cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 3-4 patients
• Epic EMR & Pyxis Medication System

Additional Details

• May float to nearby Aspirus locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• On-call requirement: 12 hours every 6 weeks
• 30-minute response time when on call
• Up to 36 hours of low-census time permitted during the contract
• Scrub color: Any color

Important: Candidates must reside outside the 50-mile radius rule to qualify for travel rates.
