School Speech Language Pathologist - Kyle, Texas

This contract role primarily serves the elementary population, with the opportunity to also contribute to secondary level support in specialized units. Openings are available immediately through the end of the school year, with some positions including supervision of SLPAs. Qualifications & Desired Experience Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active SLP license in Texas. Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Experience or comfort working with both elementary and secondary student populations. Familiarity with school-based SLP practices and IEP processes. Willingness and ability to provide supervision for SLPAs (for certain positions). Strong collaboration and communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to different student needs and working environments. Responsibilities Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Deliver direct therapy to students, mostly at the elementary level, with some sessions in secondary specialized units. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team reviews. Supervise SLPAs as needed, providing mentorship and oversight for quality service delivery. Adapt to a hybrid schedule, balancing on-site and virtual responsibilities as assigned.
