Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy services to patients within a Level II Trauma Center, focusing on improving functional abilities and independence. This travel position requires delivering skilled therapy during scheduled shifts and collaborating with medical staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive functions to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring or improving daily living skills.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed clinical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and adjust therapy strategies.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding scheduling, holidays, and weekend rotations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of outpatient or inpatient occupational therapy experience.
• Possess strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.
