Position: High School Chemistry Teacher Location: Chelmsford High School Responsibilities Utilize current Chemistry coursework pacing guides as a foundation for instruction. Actively ensure student safety through hands‑on laboratory settings. Teach students how to use computer programs and hardware (e.g., Vernier, LoggerPro, etc.) in the context of a laboratory setting. Grade assignments, keep records of grades, and perform other administrative duties as needed. Create lesson plans that are standards and curriculum aligned. Utilize digital software (Google Apps for Education, ClassKick, etc.) to augment student learning. Read and stay abreast of current topics in Chemistry. Participate in Industry connections related to Innovation Pathways. Work with your coordinator to ensure initiatives are met. Support students and parents with course‑related questions and issues. Perform such other tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in the high school's dual enrollment program. Qualifications Candidates should have a strong foundation in the Science & Engineering Practices and foster a dynamic and exciting learning environment.
