Territory Growth Specialist Position Overview We are partnering with a growing, multi-location healthcare organization to identify a Territory Growth Specialist to drive referral growth, community engagement, and market development within an assigned territory. This is a highly relationship-driven, field-based business development opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the market, building connections, developing referral partnerships, and creating measurable growth. The Territory Growth Specialist will serve as a key external representative for the organization, developing relationships with healthcare providers, community partners, and other referral sources while partnering closely with local practice teams to turn market activity into new patient opportunities. This is not a clinical position. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of outside sales, relationship development, territory management, and community engagement experience. Previous healthcare or dental experience is beneficial but not required. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan focused on increasing referral activity, market awareness, and new patient opportunities. Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and other key referral partners throughout the assigned market. Identify and pursue new referral sources and business development opportunities within the territory. Conduct regular in-person outreach, meetings, presentations, and relationship-building activities with current and prospective referral partners. Represent local practices at community events, health fairs, networking opportunities, sponsorships, and other market-facing activities. Partner closely with doctors, treatment coordinators, practice leadership, and other internal stakeholders to help convert referral activity into scheduled consultations. Track outreach activity, referral trends, relationship development, and referral-source performance. Utilize market and referral data to identify opportunities for additional growth and prioritize territory activity. Provide regular updates on territory performance, market activity, opportunities, and challenges to practice and regional leadership. Partner with marketing and practice leadership to execute local initiatives designed to strengthen brand awareness and community presence. Maintain a consistent field presence and effectively manage travel, appointments, events, and territory priorities. Serve as a professional brand ambassador while building long-term relationships throughout the local community. Qualifications Previous experience in outside sales, business development, territory management, community relations, healthcare sales, or a similar relationship-driven role strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop new relationships and grow an assigned market or territory. Strong prospecting, networking, presentation, and relationship-management skills. Comfortable initiating conversations and developing relationships with professional referral partners and community organizations. Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a field-based territory. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple relationships, activities, and initiatives. Ability to track activity and use performance data to adjust territory strategy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Coachable, collaborative, and comfortable working within an established sales and business development process. Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned local territory; reliable transportation required. Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
