Responsibilities
- Deliver age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process within established standards of care.
- Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other staff levels.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patients, perform ongoing assessments, and respond to clinical changes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; communicate with patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and department policies; apply de-escalation techniques when needed.
- Document care accurately; participate in shift handoffs and engage in quality improvement activities.

Requirements
- Active RN license (unrestricted) to practice in the appropriate jurisdiction.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP, and de-escalation training; active at start date or plan to renew if needed.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited RN program; eligible for licensure.
- Experience: ER nursing experience preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department and adapt to a travel assignment.
- Skills: Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork; ability to work rotating shifts.
