Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with emergency room experience to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER setting. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, adaptable, and committed to patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival to ensure timely and appropriate care.
• Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records using Meditech EMR.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and provide ongoing assessment and support.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas RN license or compact license eligibility required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to variable patient acuity and census.
