Position: Radiology Technologist/X-ray Tech
Location: Eureka, CA 95501
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging. The ideal candidate will operate radiographic equipment, position patients accurately, and produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.

Duties
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians and healthcare providers.

• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Verify patient identity, review exam requests, and explain procedures to patients.
• Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission for interpretation.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Assist with portable imaging procedures and emergency department imaging as needed.
• Document patient information, procedures, and imaging results accurately.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Follow infection control, safety, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
  Requirements
  CA Radiology License
  Fluoro, BLS, ARRT R
  Minimum 1 year of recent experience .
