Forklift Operator

WorkSource is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate a propane-powered sit-down forklift for moving, loading, and unloading materials. This position also involves supporting daily inventory tasks, ensuring accurate counts, and completing all duties efficiently while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down propane forklift to transport materials within the facility
• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
• Replace propane tanks as needed to ensure uninterrupted forklift operation
• Assist with daily inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials
• Utilize basic math skills to verify quantities, counts, and inventory accuracy
• Inspect materials and shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift (propane required)
• Ability to safely change propane tanks
• Strong basic math and counting skills for inventory tracking
• Experience with shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
