Position Overview The firm is seeking an Associate Attorney through Senior Attorney (open to candidates with 1 year of experience up to 20+ years ) to join its Richmond, VA office. The team is open to attorneys coming from personal injury, prosecutor’s offices, or trial-heavy backgrounds , including those looking to transition into civil litigation. This role offers flexibility, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to grow within a well-structured personal injury practice. Key Responsibilities Manage a plaintiff-side personal injury caseload , including pre‑litigation and/or litigation matters Handle case strategy, discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trials as applicable Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff Maintain strong organization and case progression in line with firm standards Experience & Qualifications Licensed attorney in Virginia (or ability to become licensed) Open to experience levels ranging from 1 year to 20+ years Backgrounds considered include: Personal injury (pre‑litigation and/or litigation) Prosecutor or government litigation Trial attorney experience highly valued Strong work ethic, coachability, and alignment with firm culture Desire to grow long‑term within a team‑oriented firm Caseload Average target caseload: 100–125 cases Firm is willing to provide up to 3 months of training , depending on experience level Attorney fee/bonus structure: DOE Compensation structure is flexible and aligned with experience and performance Schedule & Work Arrangement In-office required for the first 90 days Flexibility available for the right candidate Why Join This Firm?
