Engagement Lead

Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics consulting services and product firm that delivers unmatched speed to value through analytics solutions and actionable business insights, is seeking a talented Engagement Lead to join our team. Engagement Lead Responsibilities Lead client engagements – consisting of data analysis and technical development – by collaborating with clients to understand business challenges and design effective analytics solutions. Develop proposals and statements of work (SOW) including defining objectives, scope, deliverables, pricing, roles, and risk mitigation. Manage cross‑functional delivery teams—including internal, client, third‑party, and offshore resources—across multiple workstreams from planning to execution. Ensure clear, actionable requirements that align with business needs and can be implemented and tested effectively. Oversee project deliverables, proactively identify issues, and drive timely resolutions to minimize client impact. Apply strategic thinking and business insight to solution design, decision‑making, and problem‑solving. Ensure adherence to technical best practices in collaboration with technical leadership. Facilitate effective communication across technical, functional, and client stakeholders. Identify and manage project risks, including mitigation planning. Lead client meetings, status updates, and steering committees; mentor project teams and guide client engagement. Strengthen client relationships through thought leadership, solution delivery, and business understanding. Identify opportunities for follow‑on work that contributes to revenue growth. Participate in internal project reviews and ensure alignment with organizational standards. Review and approve project time in alignment with project financials. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Econometrics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Data Science, or other applied mathematical discipline; MBA is a plus. At least 6 years of experience in Project Management for projects with a technical focus and/or analytical modeling components. At least 4 years of consulting experience required. Experience managing projects using SDLC, PMI, and Agile methodologies. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Client‑service mindset of “own it all the way through the solution” to exceed expectations. Strong analytical and logical thinking skills. Proactively identifying opportunities to grow the project/business. Ability to switch between multiple high‑priority projects throughout the week. Prioritizing with multiple expectations independently, with limited oversight. Financial acumen and business analysis experience. Excellent communication skills and ability to present clearly to senior leadership and executives. Proven people‑leadership experience. Demonstrated innovative thinking and ability to be a thought leader for the client. Effective stakeholder communication and ability to translate for non‑technical audiences. Experience managing conflict. Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project‑management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Asana, Basecamp, SmartSheets, etc.).
