Financial Operation Manager

Atrium is partnering with a respected, mission-driven nonprofit organization in Atlanta to identify a Finance Operations Manager . This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting and finance professional who enjoys making an impact while supporting the financial health of an organization dedicated to serving the community. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, with a dotted-line relationship to the Controller, the Finance Operations Manager will oversee grants management, payroll, and day-to-day financial operations while playing a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Responsibilities Manage the full grant accounting lifecycle, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timely reporting. Oversee payroll processing and related accounting activities. Lead day-to-day finance operations, including expense tracking and operational financial support. Partner with the CFO on annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate grant accounting and financial reporting. Monitor cash flow and assist with cash management reporting. Maintain documentation and compliance for all grant-related financial activities. Work cross-functionally with program and development teams to provide financial guidance and support. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 4–6 years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Experience with grant accounting is highly preferred. Experience processing payroll. Sage Intacct experience preferred. Experience with SAP Concur or a comparable expense management platform is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Passion for supporting a mission-focused nonprofit organization. Hybrid schedule based in Atlanta, GA.
